Anglo-Saxon Kingston

Introduction

In the 10th century Kingston was a royal estate centre used for the coronation of several Anglo-Saxon Kings. In 925 CE the coronation of Athelstan took place in Kingston on Thames. This virtual reconstruction shows how Kingston may have looked at the time.
